About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Divisional Manager to lead our Victorian business operations. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability and team performance across the state while maintaining strong relationships with key clients and developing new business opportunities.
This is a highly visible leadership position that combines people leadership, business development, client management and operational excellence. You will play a key role in shaping the success of the Victorian division while contributing to ManpowerGroup's broader growth strategy.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Leadership & Team Development

  • Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team.
  • Driving team performance against revenue, gross profit and productivity targets.
  • Managing performance reviews, succession planning, recruitment and development activities.
  • Fostering a collaborative, customer-focused and results-driven culture.

    Sales & Business Development
  • Developing and executing the Victorian sales strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Growing existing client relationships and identifying opportunities for account expansion.
  • Securing new business through proactive networking, client engagement and market development activities.
  • Supporting proposal development, pricing strategies and implementation of new client partnerships.

    Client & Candidate Excellence
  • Providing senior-level support and escalation management for key clients.
  • Ensuring exceptional service delivery across recruitment and workforce solutions.
  • Maintaining strong candidate engagement and talent pooling strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance, quality standards and service level agreements are consistently met.

    Financial & Operational Performance
  • Managing divisional performance against revenue, profitability and growth targets.
  • Monitoring forecasting, pipelines and budget performance.
  • Ensuring operational compliance, reporting requirements and quality standards are achieved.
  • Driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and customer outcomes.

    Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Championing health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Maintaining compliance with legislative requirements and company policies.
  • Ensuring robust client and candidate governance practices across the division.

    To succeed in this role, you will be an accomplished recruitment or workforce solutions leader with a strong commercial focus and a passion for developing people.
    You will ideally bring:
  • Proven leadership experience within recruitment, staffing or workforce solutions.
  • Demonstrated success managing sales and service teams.
  • A strong track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • The ability to identify, engage and convert new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, revenue and profitability.
  • Sound knowledge of recruitment market trends, employment legislation and industry practices.
  • A coaching mindset with a genuine commitment to developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
